On Rodeo Drive / While participating in a workshop with photographer Jason Langer in 2021, I ventured onto Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to work on some candid photography concepts. Despite living in Los Angeles for many years, I had never been on foot at this iconic location which enabled me to see it up close for the first time when I made these pictures. An image captured during this exploration, Walking in L.A., earned a First Place award for documentary photography from APA American Photographic Artists and has been subsequently featured on the LensCulture Street Photography Awards. Another image from this series, Precious, was selected by Crista Dix, Executive Director at the Griffin Museum of Photography to be exhibited on The Curated Frig.
